City tour of Delhi. In Old Delhi visit Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Check-out from the hotel at 1200 hrs. In New Delhi visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and Lakshminarayan Temple. Drive past President's House, Parliament House and Government Secretariat Buildings. Evening transfer to rail-station for Jaisalmer night train. Night on board.
Day 03 :- Jaisalmer
Morning in train. Arrive Jaisalmer at noon. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Jaisalmer.

Morning city tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the fort, bazaars and the old mansions known as haveli's. People still live in these ancient building dating from 12th to 15th centaury. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work. Checkout from the hotel at 1200 hours. Later transfer to railway station for Jodhpur night train. Night on board.
Day 05 :- Jodhpur
Morning arrive Jodhpur. Transfer to hotel. City tour of Jodhpur. Visit the Meharangarh Fort situated on a low sandstone Hill, including Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memorium built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight Jodhpur.

Udaipur
Drive to Udaipur visiting Ranakpur Temples enroute. Ranakpur Jain Temples built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. The magic of light & shade is really awe inspiring. Surya Temple and other Jain Temples are side attractions. Overnight Udaipur.
Day 07 :- Udaipur
Morning tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir and drive around Fatehsagar Lake. Afternoon free. Overnight Udaipur.

Morning free. Checkout at 1200 hrs. Evening transfer to railway-station for Jaipur night train. Night on board.

Morning arrive Jaipur. Transfer to hotel. Visit Amber Fort - the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Later city tour. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, & the Observatory . Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.

Morning transfer to rail-station for Agra train. Arrive Agra. Transfer to hotel. Visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Overnight Agra.

Day free in Agra. Check-out from the hotel at 1200 hrs. Evening transfer to rail-station for New Delhi train. Arrive New Delhi and transfer to hotel. Overnight Delhi.

Historically Punjab may be considered the most important province of India. It was here that the Aryans of the Vedic times first made their homes. It was here that the hymns of the Rig Veda were chanted. It was to this province at the University of Takshila that seekers after knowledge flocked from various parts of the world. Drive to Chandigarh and check in at Shivalik Afternoon visit Parivar Vichorra and drive to Anandpur Sahib - fortress temple situated on the left bank of the river Satluj founded by the ninth Sikh guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur. It was here that the Sikh religion acquired its final military character. Overnight in hotel Shivalik in Chandigarh.

Amritsar
Morning city tour, visiting the Museum, High Court, Assembly Chamber and Rock Garden. Afternoon drive to Amritsar, situated on the north western border of the country. The 400 years old city, founded by the fourth guru of the Sikhs, Guru Ramdas, has been the seat of the Sikh religion and culture from its very inception. It is renowned for the famous Golden Temple. Amritsar , literally Pool of Nectar, derives its name from the holy pond around the temple. The land for the pool was gifted by the Moghul Emperor Akbar. Hotel Ritz Plaza .
Day 04 :- Amritsar
Morning excursion of Tarn Taran, famous for a gurudwara standing on the side of a large tank and built in honour of Guru Arjun Dev. Lepers come from far off places to have a dip in the tank, for it is believed that its water can help cure leprosy. Proceed to Gobindwal, a short run from Tarn Taran, connected to the memory of guru Amardas who lived there. A gurudwara built by the guruji still stands there. Since no place was available for a tank, an underground Baoli was constructed near the gurudwara with a flight of 84 steps leading to it. Continue onto Hazoor Sahib, where the Samadhi (memorial) of the second Sikh guru, Guru Angad Devji, was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1815. Return to Amritsar. Afternoon visit the Golden Temple built in the midst of the holy pool by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1803, it is also known as Darbar Sahib or Har Mandir Sahib. The dome of the temple is covered with an estimated 400 kgs of gold leaf , hence its popular name the Golden Temple. The interiors of the temple, like wise, decorated by inlay work with delicate floral patterns are done with semi precious stones. Adjoining the pool is Akal Takht, established by the sixth Sikh guru, Guru Hargobind Singh. It is seat of the supreme head of the Sikh religious authority.
Day 05 :- Amritsar
Morning visit Jailianwala Bagh, the historic site where hundreds of innocent Indian men, women and children were massacred by British General Michael Dyer on April 13, 1919. A memorial and garden have been created here as a national monument. Proceed to Baba Bakala, a place associated with the ninth Sikh guru , Shri Tegh Bahadur, having a magnificent gurudwara where people gather in thousands on every Amavas. An annual fair is held on Raksha Bandhan with about hundred thousand people visiting the place, commemorating the day when the ninth guru was located by his followers.
Day 06 :- Amritsar

Transfer to rail-station to board train to Delhi. Arrive and transfer to hotel .
Day 07 :- Delhi
Morning sightseeing tour visiting Red Fort the symbol of Moghul power and elegance built in red sand stone by the fifth Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan when he shifted his capital to Shahjahanabad from Agra in 1638, India Gate the country memorial to the unknown soldier and Qutab Minar built in red sand stone in Islamic style, the tower is 71 mts tall with its walls consisting of intricately carved quotations from the Holy Quran.
Check out at 1200 hours. Transfer to airport to connect flight for onward journey.
